Nagaon
Welcome to Nagaon, the rice bowl of Assam. Located in the very heartland of Assam, it falls precisely at the center of the entire North East of India. An old district which dates back to 1833, it is Assam’s second most populous district, which probably prompted its old British administrators to jocularly describe Nagaon as a district of 3 c’s... chickens, children and cases .
